The Folklore Museum exhibits personal items and rare documents from the glorious era of George Papandreou, also known as the "Old Man of Democracy", as well as rare local artifacts from previous eras.

This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. MONDAY-FRIDAY: Closed, WEEKENDS: Open.

The Folklore Museum exhibits personal items and rare documents from the glorious era of George Papandreou, also known as the "Old Man of the Republic". Also on display are rare local objects from past times.

Exhibits available

The Museum's collections include:

1. Objects that were used for the acquisition and production of the goods, such as:

Military – Bayonet, Hunting – Monocanoe Weapon, Pastoral – Bells and bells,

Agricultural – Plows, Scale, sprinkler and animal coupling coil,

Beekeeping – Carved hive.

2. Objects for the treatment and processing of raw materials, such as:

Nutrition – Sieve, Agricultural and Livestock Items – Straw Works,

Liquid Items – Wooden Barrels, Textile – Loom and Rocket,

Carpentry – Wood saw, Professions – Shoemaker, barber and tailor.

3. Items for preparation and consumption, such as:

Utensils for food preparation – Copper pots, fire shades, scafidi, plaster, bakratsa, butter extraction bucket, manual mincer and tubeki,

Preparation of drinks and stimulants – Coffee roaster, Utensils for consumption of food and drinks – earthenware containers,

Personal clothing – Kappa weaver, Personal care and cleanliness – kakkavi,

Residential – Security bars for doors, Household goods – Railings and shackles, ironing iron,

Furniture – Wardrobe, metal sideboard and coffee table, Homewear – Textiles and quilts,

Lighting fixtures – Dadostat, Decoration – Trunk, Communication – Document of delivery-receipt between outgoing and new President of the Community (1946), tampon-ink container and stamp,
