Thestieon square is located in the center of the village of Kainourgio, Aitoloakarnania. It is a beautiful, paved square, in the center of which dominates the bronze statue in honor of the Greek Heroes Fallen, while right next to it is a stone fountain that cools the inhabitants. On one side there is an amphitheatrically built small stone theater and around it there are manicured flower beds with trees and beautiful benches. The town hall of Thestiea stands imposingly on the square, while right next to it is housed the 1st Primary School. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport.
