The Trichonida Environmental Center is located in the Amparia area of ​​the town of Panaitolio, which is just a few kilometers from Agrinio. It was created through the European Life-Nature Program '99 actions for the protection of the Limestone Swamps of Lake Trichonida and then the building was donated to the Society for the Protection of Trichonida. The Center has a room for displaying information digital material, an exhibition space and a laboratory for the analysis of water quality from Lake Trichonida. Its operation is quite important, as it aims to inform and raise public awareness on environmental issues. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
