Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Megali Chora (Zapanti)
The Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is located on the southeast side of the village of Megali Chora (Zapanti). It is an early Christian royal church of the 4th-6th century AD. and today is the oldest Christian monument in the area. Above the main entrance dominates the stone bell tower, while in its courtyard is the village cemetery. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
