The Roman bridge of Patras is located on Aretha Street, in the city of Patras. It is a stone bridge with two arches, which was built during the period between the 2nd and 3rd century AD. It is an important monument of Roman times and is considered one of the best preserved two-arched bridges in Greece. In ancient times it was part of the provincial road that connected Patras with Aigio and it is rumored that the torrent Meilichos passed through the point, while newer research has shown that it is most likely the river Kallinao.
