The General Hospital of Patras Agios Andreas is the second largest hospital in Patras and one of the largest in the Peloponnese. It was founded in 1871, has a total capacity of 400 beds and consists of 5 buildings. The main multi-storey building was built in 1973, but was severely damaged by an earthquake in 2008.
