The archeological site of the Roman and Medieval Aqueduct of Patras is located in the valley of Aroi and inside it, two large water bridges rise. The largest is part of the Roman Aqueduct, which is considered to have been rebuilt at the beginning of the 2nd AD. century, in the years of the emperor Hadrian. At a distance of about 150 meters, the section of the Aqueduct of the early post-Byzantine period was discovered in 2006, i.e. a water bridge that consists of four semicircular arches and is reinforced on both sides with sloping struts. The aqueduct was used until the end of the 18th century. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
