Roman Stadium
The Roman Stadium of Patras, also known as the Amphitheater-Stadium or Theater, is located in the center of the city and is a ruin of the Roman Stadium of Roman Patras. It is located next to the Roman Conservatory while only its eastern side has been revealed. It is believed that it was built in the years of Domitian, in 80 - 90 BC, as a gift to the city to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Roman colony. The stadium organized sports games, Caesarea, in which athletes from all over Greece participated. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
