Ancient Feia or Fea is located in the present bay of Agios Andreas Katakolos and is known as the most important port of Ilia in antiquity. It was a port of Olympia and the whole of Pisatida and was probably sunk by a strong earthquake in the 6th century AD. In 1973 the Marine Archaeological Research Institute surveyed the sea area of ​​the bay and erected many architectural members and columns. The location of the ancient city has been located at a depth of 5 meters at the bottom of the sea, while the ancient citadel is located at the highest point of Cape Ichthyos.
