Agios Nikolaos Trichonidas is a semi-mountainous settlement in the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and the seat of the homonymous local community that belongs to the Municipality of Agrinio. It is located on the northwest side of Lake Trichonida, at an altitude of 240 meters and borders the villages of Kamaroula and Schino, while it is about 7 kilometers northeast of Agrinio. Until 1953 it was called Renzperion and according to the 2011 census the population is 136 inhabitants. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
