Perdikovrisi (former Sinista), is a small mountainous village in Aitoloakarnania, which is built at an altitude of 700 meters on the slopes of Mountain Tsekoura and at a distance of 4 km from the south bank of the river Evinos. Sinitsa dates back to Byzantine times. Various objects that reveal that there was also an Ancient Aetolian settlement have been found from time to time. In front of the village, there is a panoramic view, the riverbed and the artificial lake of Evinos. The area from the village to the river is quite large and fertile, and in the old days the production of beans, corn, wheat, grapes and all kinds of fruit trees, covered the needs of the inhabitants. East of the village, is the stream Kakavos and there is a path that leads to a waterfall of exceptional natural beauty and small ponds. Above the village, there is a beautiful forest, overgrown with firs. Worth admiring, is the beautiful Kefalovryso at the top of the village in the fir forest. There is a spring from which abundant, gurgling water gushes. The church of Agios Georgios is remarkable. Where according to a built-in plaque, it was built in 1866. But this is a year of renovation, since in 1829 the church held the electoral assembly. The wood-carved iconostasis that is very good art has many similarities with the iconostasis of Agios Nikolaos Ambelakiotistas. It seems, then, that if the chronology above the Beautiful Gate is read correctly, it was made in 1749 and is therefore of the older church. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
