The village of Kolokytha is located west of the artificial lake Pineios and south of the river of the same name. It is 20 km from Amaliada and is adjacent to the villages of Kentro, Agios Dimitrios and Agios Ilias. It belongs to the community of Agios Dimitrios of the Municipality of Ilida and consists of 121 permanent residents, according to the 2011 census. Formerly it was called Kolokythia. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
