Velanidi is a small semi-mountainous settlement of the Regional Unit of Ileia, which is built at an altitude of about 149 meters, near the southeastern shores of the Pineios dam. It belongs to the Municipality of Ilida and is located about 20 kilometers northeast of the city of Amaliada. In the center of the village there is the Holy Temple dedicated to Agios Konstantinos.
