Avgi is a semi-mountainous settlement in the prefecture of Ileia, which is built at an altitude of about 125 meters, on the southern shores of the Pineios dam. It is the seat of the homonymous local community of the Kallikratiko Municipality of Ilida. It has the central Church of Agios Charalambos with the unique view of the lake of the river Pineios. According to the 2011 census, the population is 59 permanent residents, who are mainly engaged in agriculture. The large areas of arable land that exist in the area contribute to this, as well as the easy water supply that is provided, through the artificial lake of Pineios. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
