Dimitrios Stathakopoulos, Dr. of Panteion University of Kalavrita - Ottomanologist, Associate of the Laboratory of Turkish and Eurasian Studies (ETEM) of the University of Piraeus, Lawyer at the Supreme Court and member of the Board of the Group of Descendant Fighters 1821 and historical generations of Greece who has published several books and donates the copyright for the writing of an album entitled "Flame of Freedom". The 250-page album will include, under the responsibility and supervision of the author, original archival material on the role of the Kalavrita people for the Revolution of '21, as well as 30 copperplates, lithographs and engravings that capture snapshots of the Struggle. This is the highlight of important documents through which the catalytic intervention of the Province of Kalavrita in the beginning of the Greek Revolution against the Turkish Conqueror is captured, in March 1821. The album will have a hard, luxurious cover worthy of its great content, while it will be printed in copies.
