Recognizing the importance of such an act of heroic rebellion, we pay tribute to the pioneering fighters of the historic Nonakrida in order to highlight our local history and historical wealth with a series of musical-theatrical events. The content of these events in terms of texts, photographic material and other interactive material will be the content of the publication.
The members of the Board of Directors will actively participate in the implementation of the issue of the historical cultural Association "Anagennisis" and the members of the music and dance Association of the Akrata Philharmonic, as well as volunteer teachers from the wider area of East Aegialia.
Undoubtedly a very important historical event that took place in the area of East Egialia of the former Municipality of Nonakrida and in recent years a group of active citizens emerges with inspiration and respect for history and events.
The project concerns memorial events that include: Historical walk - guided tour in Peristera, unveiling of a memorial plaque in memory of the fighter Anagnostis Giannopoulos and presentation of traditional dances in Peristera Nonakridas, Doxology at I.N. Agios Georgios Solos Nonakridas, laying of wreaths, parade of philharmonic and groups, theatrical event with period costumes by the theatrical group of the association "Anagennisis" in the square of Solos.
Anniversary edition of a souvenir album: "Nonakrida 1821-2021" - Creation of a digital disc that will include:
- The theatrical texts from 4 theatrical performances 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021
- Historical reports,
- Rare historical episodes of local scope.
PLACE: We chose the actions to be implemented and presented to the general public in natural spaces throughout Aegialia, e.g., Agridio Square, sanctuary of Agios Georgios Solos, Kastraki Solou - foothills of Helmos, highlighting at the same time printed and digitally the space-time of a historical and natural beauty. Presentation of the publication in Akrata: "Anagennisis" event hall.
