The Motorcycle Club of the Holy City of Messolonghi, in view of the 200th anniversary of the proclamation of the Revolution, has planned to make a pilgrimage to the places where the faith was preserved and the flame of Freedom was kept alive, where the Greek communities cultivated the Greek soil and, where the Revolution was proclaimed.
With our motorcycles, we will cross Greece and the Balkans in a marathon of memory, to remember, to remind and to honor the fighters, the known and the invisible. We will connect with this journey the place where the Revolution was proclaimed by Alexandros Ypsilantis and his Holy Corps was sacrificed, with the place of the Great Sacrifice, the Holy City of Freedom.
PLACE: The cities and places of historical interest of the route from Messolonghi to Kinissau of Moldova, Iasio and Dragatsani, with stops in the places where Saint Cosmas of Aetolia taught and martyred, Belgrade, where Rigas Feraios was assassinated, the cities where the Greek communities live today and keep alive the memory of the fighters.
