Saint Elias of Messolonghi
Agios Ilias is a lowland village built on a series of hills with olive trees, west of the Aetolian lagoon and east of the Achelous river. Great sights are the church of the Assumption of the Virgin, the chapel of Taxiarchis and the shell-filled beach in the lagoon.
