ALL POINTS OF INTEREST

The ancient Tower of Alyzia is located a few kilometers from Archontochori. It is one of the few surviving ancient Towers of the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and is considered one of the most emblematic monuments of the region. It is square in shape and is built on a rocky hill, which allowed it to control the land road and the beaches of the Ionian Sea. Outside the Tower are the windows and the loopholes, which were placed on all four sides. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
