Revival of a traditional bun custom
The revival of the custom of the traditional bun takes place in the village of Kameniani. A few decades ago, on the day of Panagia, the young people of the village and the surrounding area made a two-kilometer road race with a prize of half a bun, which they then distributed to the public. The other half was drawn, because the luck factor was taken into account. The custom is revived at a time when the sporting ideal had not been commercialized. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible in the Autumn. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Photo source:
