Helmos Observatory- Aristarchus
The Helmos Observatory belongs to the National Observatory of Athens and is located in Neraidorachi, the second highest peak of Mount Helmos. The "Aristarchus" mirror telescope, one of the most technologically advanced telescopes in Europe, has been installed, named after Aristarchus Samios, an astronomer of antiquity.
